Workshop Overview: This interactive workshop is focused on asking tough questions about ethics. What are ethics? Why is ethical decisions-making important? What are the possible ethical decision-making processes? How does all this relate to the Code of Professional Conduct? Through interactive scenarios and group discussions, participants will discover, explore and gain a more in-depth understanding into their own ethical decision-making process, and will create a preliminary ethical framework, for the purposes of applying it to future job assignments.

Educational Objectives: The participants will develop an understanding of ethical decision-making and be able to apply this knowledge in practice scenarios, group discussion and class engagement, and will be able to identify three to five decision-making processes by the end of the workshop.

NCRID is an approved RID CMP/ACET Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies (PS) activity is offered at 0.4 CEU’s at the “Some” Content Knowledge Level. Target Audience: Educational and Community Interpreters.
