HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED WITH CAP? It will be 2 years in Feb. Oh how the time goes by so fast. I feel like I just moved here.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD ON THE ROAD? Subway

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB? No office paper work like when I was working as a social worker.

WHAT HOBBIES DO YOU ENJOY? Reading, running, and the movies

WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT INTERPRETING? Not sure I would change anything.

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH INTERPRETING? I took ASL in high school and just continued with it afterwards.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WORKING FOR CAP? They do all the billing and coordinating for us and I love them for that because that is definitely not my thing.

SHARE AN INTERPRETING BLOOPER. While interpreting a little boy said to me, "Do you speak?"

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW INTERPRETER IN THE FIELD? Find a mentor that you can work with and that provides you with constructive feedback.

For those of you who are tired of getting checks in the mail and want to get updated to the 21st century this is your opportunity! CAP has made it easy for each of you to get direct deposit, just follow the simple list below and get the information to CAP they will take care of the rest...


The cost is $1.25 per deposit.

The interpreter must supply:

Routing Number

Account Number

Holiday Hours-Office Closed

CAP will be closing at 3:00pm on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. Closed Thanksgiving day and the Friday after that. For the Christmas holiday we will be closed Dec 24 & 25. We will also be closed New Years Eve.
